Part of the new G.I. Joe Retaliation line of movie based action figures and is a surprising cool rendering of this character.
The figure includes a "Blast Board" which features a "Power-Up" glow thanks to a set of small alkaline batteries which is supposed to cause Firefly's arms to glow but with mine I found the effect didn't work.
Also there are a small set of guns that fit nicely into this figures side holsters plus swappable heads so you can show Firefly in his more common masked form but I really like this version unmasked.
There is some nice designs on the uniform with the coolest I think being on the figure's back which almost give it a "Python Patrol" feel to it which I just love.
Finally I want to note that the black G.I. Joe figure stand shown is not included but was one I had from another figure and for those of you that want a traditional/classic colored Firefly there is one available in one of the Retaliation action figure 3-packs.

Sorry, dont like :( He looks hunched and too skinny in the waist, but thats just me ! The yellow on his thumb makes him look like he's suffering fom the ol' Broken Thumb syndrome :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think everyone will like this one Mike but I will say he is better out of the package and in your hands sort of deal.
DeleteBeing an explosives expert, it seems right that his thumb looks like it's a little gone. ;)
DeleteTrue Dat Freddy.
DeleteHe is one of my listed wanted action figures. He looks pretty cool and I love that blast board.
ReplyDeleteYeah I had to have him and Joe Colton when I saw them and the blast board is a little different from what the other figures have so far.
DeleteIs it just me or is his face a lil' Nixon-y? Evil!
ReplyDeletelol he does have a little bit of Nixon going on.
DeleteThis reminds me of the old school Zartan figure that came with the speeder bike!I love it that G.I. Joe is back!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteAt first glance, I thought it was a new Beach Head fig.
ReplyDeleteNope but I do have the new Beach Head which I still need to show on the blog.
