These wonderful 3 3/4 action figures have been on the Cosmic Ark radar for sometime but it wasn't until the end of 2012 was i able to finally add two of these to my collection.
The two i chose for myself were Commander Comet: The Man From Venus and one thought would be a perfect counterpart to this figure, Mystron: The Man From Hollow Earth.
Together these two have a "Heaven and Hell/Angel and Devil" look/vibe to them which i just really liked from the pictures i saw of them together.
Now these figures for those that might not know are based off of a original series of Outer Space Men that were released in the late 60s by the Colorforms Company(and those are also known as "Colorform Aliens").
The Four Horsemen Studios are the group behind these and unlike those original ones from the 60s that were "bendy" figures(very similar to Mattel's Major Matt Mason also from this time frame)these modern ones make use of the Glyos joint system which am a fan of.
Everything on these are just beautiful including the collector friendly packaging which is really eye catching and you can see the effort and love put into these by the folks at 4HS.
I want to make note here too that while Commander Comet was released both in the 60s and now, Mystron never saw a release until the present day and only existed as a unreleased production sample and in sketch form for proposed 2nd series of Outer Space Men back in there original run.
