Street Fighter II Jungle Fighter Blanka V1

Another G.I. Joe Street Fighter II Sub-Set Team member Jungle Fighter Blanka looks to be a savage opponent to anyone who meets up with him.

Released in 1993 as part of the SFII line of action figures to capitalize on the popular arcade/home video game of the time this is a version 1 release with a second being released in the color blue.

Blanka came with all your standard weapons you would find with any of the G.I. Joes of this time frame.....

I scored this one complete and on card at a indoor flea market late last year along with Chun Li also from this line which I will be showing on the blog next time.

  1. I always thought it was weird that they worked SF into GI Joe.

    1. That is something that would been a nice extra to make it closer to the arcade rendering.

  7. Very interesting figure. He can double up as Hulk. Must be great for the whole team to form up together.
