M.A.S.K Jackhammer with Cliff Dagger

Another new addition to my small collection of M.A.S.K. toys is the series 1 1985 released Jackhammer with driver Cliff Dagger.

A Ford 4x4 Bronco that changes into a assault vehicle for the evil forces of VENOM this one has been on my radar much like the Gator from this Kenner produced toy line I blogged about a short while ago.

While sadly it's missing a set of it's laser guns and the hood sticks during it's transformation the action figure itself came with it's mask which are most often missing with these so am pretty happy.

  1. I kind of like this vehicle quite a bit. The transformation is not so radical that it seems a little silly. I never had M.A.S.K. as a kid, but my friend had a lot of the vehicles. He always wanted this one. I did, though, manage to get a refrigerator magnet of Jack Hammer with Cliff Dagger. I believe that it was a cereal toy promotion.

    1. I totally agree Taylor there is a simplicity to it that I like. Really not over the top at all like some have.

  2. That mask looks like he is trying to imitate Big Van Vadar!

  7. Even though this is not my favorite from this line, it's up there. Reason being, this is the only M.A.S.K. vehicle I had as a kid(a kid up the street gave me Condor, but my dad made me give it back). My brother and I both got one on a Christmas long ago. It's really cool, and I wouldn't mind Trakking(see what I did?), one down myself.

Any chance you could tell me how much you got this for? That would give me an estimate of what I should be paying for one, as I would love to add this one to the collection. Thanks! :)

    1. Well it was a Christmas Present but I know the cost of it....$15 which I thought was good given the tires are not split and Cliff included his Mask. It might of been $20 if it had the missing laser guns and the hood springs work a little better. : )

  8. These M.A.S.K. posts make me want to go visit my Mom just so I can dig through the attic to see if my old ones remain. Good work sir!

  9. Always loved that one and finally found one last summer. Sadly missing the actual mask but I can live without it. You should check out Hot Wheels' Battle Force collection, highly reminiscent of M.A.S.K.
