The gimmick of this orange 4x4 Jeep was that it had a spring-loaded chassis that would left up and launch a Hydroplane that driver Dusty Hayes could pilot across the water to deal with enemy forces(V.E.N.O.M.)and other threats to the M.A.S.K. team.
The Hydroplane includes a Barrel Depth Charge and Roll Bar Gun along with a nice holding spot for Dusty's "Backlash" Mask if you so chose to place it there.
Mine shows some wear which is normal for these along with a small crack in the Hydroplane's body which i was aware before it was purchased for me so i have no problems with this because is still very cool.
The Gator is one of those things that really stood out for me because it was shown during the intro of the 80s cartoon which this line is based off of so it has always been something in the back of my mind i have wanted and now i have it in my little collection of things.
I did not manage to get this into my Mask batch but it is a sure iconic fun toy of the 80's.

DeleteVery nice. MASK really was a great line of toys. I have a lot of the figures and masks. I only hand the green motorcycle/helicopter (Condor) as far as vehicles go.

DeleteI wanted to collect MASK as a kid and had the green bike chopper but as quickly as it came out it vanished!

DeleteI love Jeeps and this one is cool! I never had any Mask toys but they always intregued me. It's like Gijoe and Transformers all in one!

Deletelove M.A.S.K toys.my brother had that same toy,and i played with it just as much as he did.all i got left of mask stuff is the vhs tape of the first episode in the oversized box.mask rocks.
