This is a "Arctic Trooper" rendering of Snake and one I remember from the original Marvel Comics run of the comic books in issue #2 if I am correct (Quinn The Eskimo made his debut in that issue).
This figure came from a trade I made with my good friend Chad a while ago along with a few other Joes which I will get around to showing here on the Cosmic Ark at some point.
I still need to add a good Snake-Eyes to my collection. Even though I don't collect Joes, Snake-Eyes is an icon!

ReplyDeleteThey did! He was sold in a Comic Book 3-Pack back in 2004 with Scarlett and Snake Eyes.
DeleteThey also made a great (non-arctic) Kwinn in the 25th ann style, but have yet to release him. They claim than none on the retailers will allow him to be in a wave because they don't think he will sell. I have my fingers crossed that he is the bonus figure in the collectors club figure subscription.

DeleteThis is one of my favorite Snakes and the Kwinn that comes in this pack is cool but that unproduced one that I keep seeing pics of from last years con ...... I'd just about give my entire collection for that !!!!

DeleteVersion 35?! Man, you could make a great collection of just Snake Eyes figures. No other GI Joes. I hadn't seen this one before but now I have to be on the look for it.
