G.I. Joe Sci-Fi V1

One of my favorite G.I. Joe action figures is the 1986 released Laser Trooper Sci-Fi which is part of series 5 of the "Real American Hero" line.

Something about the look and color of this version of this figure i have always liked maybe it's the "Space Helmet"or the sliver "Moon Boots" but i have just always thought very highly of this one.

There was a 30th Anniversary released one that i want to hunt down at some point as well and do some side by side photos of which i think would be fun.

  1. The sculptor really did a great job. I wonder what we all would have thought off him in the 80's if his jump suit was gray or olive.

  2. That 30th anniversary version has been on my wish list for a while! It looks fantastic! I have to agree with you, Sci-fi has a great costumed look. It's not too over the top, but is also something you are not going to see everyday.

  4. Sci-Fi is one of my favorites as well. My younger brother must have got this figure close to 10 different times when we were kids! I always thought he looked awesome(green is my favorite color), but me and my brother had an unspoken rule, where we couldn't like or get the same figures. I have one in my collection these days, but mine is missing the hose.

I haven't seen the new Sci-Fi, but cool G.I. Joes in my area don't last long.

    1. Well replacement on the Joe Team was comming with Life-Line replacing Doc and Dial-Tone replacing Breaker. I guess those guys stints on the team came up and they retired is the way i look at it.
