G.I. Joe The Fridge V1

I got another one! Yup after trading my first William "Refrigerator" Perry G.I. Joe action figure to my good friend Reis over at the Dork Horde for a "Holy Grail" item of mine(Remco's Warlord) he had offered me i managed to score one for the "Cosmic Ark Army" once again this past Christmas.

This is the first and only version of  "The Fridge" that was made available via mail-order from Hasbro in 1986 and then later on in 1987 and one more time in 1989(They must of had a nice size stock pile of these am thinking).

This figure is part of series 5 of the "Real American Hero" line and is of course based off of the real life Chicago Bears Football Player.


 The "Fridge" for those who are actually curious about his role with the Joe Team is that of a "Physical Training Instructor".

  1. I never watched Football...To this day I can't stand it. So when the Fridge was announced as a figure back then...I ONLY knew who he was by his involvement in Wrestlemania 2.
