The Corps! Lightning Mobutu

This figure just screams 70s super hero to me and while not really a favorite of mine i find it to be a unique looking one and worth having in my collection.

What i have read from his profile is that he was a former track star who had joined the Corps! when his homeland was taken over by a maniacal dictator so yeah this guy could of easily been teaming up with either Superman or Captain America back in the disco days with a origin like that.

Just give him some "super speed" powers and we could be all set because he has a perfect name for costumed heroics.

This was a "Pre-1996" released figure for the Corps! line and am unaware if there was any later reissued figures in different colors made of it which was a common thing that was done with these action figures.
